WAHQ is pleased to announce the association is actively planning its annual conference to be held 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center (click here for map).  Conference check-in will open at 7:30 a.m.

The registrant will be required to confirm the form submission by email at which time, a copy of the registration will be emailed.

Current WAHQ member (also includes membership through 2025

– 10% early registration* with payment by midnight CT on 09/16/2024 = $135

– Registration on or after 09/17/2024 = $150

WAHQ non-member (also includes membership for remainder of 2024 through 2025)

– 10% early registration* with payment by midnight CT on 09/16/2024 = $180

– Registration on or after 09/17/2024 = $200

*Authors of approved abstracts will receive the early registration rate regardless of date of registration; if full registration cost is already paid, the discount amount will be refunded. 

NOTE: Checks cannot be accepted for late (after October 15) or walk-in registrations.  


CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 📝 

WAHQ is calling out for authors to submit abstracts relating to healthcare quality topics.  Accepted abstracts will be compiled and shared electronically with conference attendees and active 2024 WAHQ members.

Once an abstract is reviewed and approved by the WAHQ Board of Directors, we offer the authors one early registration rate each for the conference regardless when they register – this would also include WAHQ membership through 2025.

2024 WAHQ Annual Conference Abstract Submission Form (WORD format)

Work submitted for presentation should not have been reported previously in an archival scientific publication, either as an article or as an abstract, at the time of submission.

Abstract submissions must be received by the WAHQ Board of Directors no later than midnight Central Time (CT) Friday, October 4, 2024.  CAUTION:  Space at the conference is limited by room size – to assure a space, do not wait on the abstract publication decision to register!  If the full registration cost has already been paid, the discount amount will be refunded.   

Notification: Decisions on abstract acceptance /rejection will be communicated by midnight CT, October 11, 2024.  Notification will be sent by e-mail to the Presenting Author listed on each abstract.


GLACIER CANYON LODGE 10/24/2024 

Attendees (other than WAHQ Board Members and conference speakers) interested in lodging the evening before the conference (October 24th) may call 1-800-867-WILD prior to Tuesday, September 24th, and tell the reservation agent that you are booking a room under the Leader #A51977 in order to receive the group rate of $109 for a Double Queen with Couch room at Glacier Canyon Lodge.   (After September 24th, all unused rooms will be released).
– Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.25%) in effect at the time of check in, and a taxable $29.95 nightly Resort fee, or current prevailing fee if changed.
– After the cut-off date, there is a 72-hour cancellation policy per room. Reservations cancelled prior to the 72-hour mark will be charged a $30 fee.
– Cancellations within 72 hours pay for the entire room rate. Condos, Cabins & Villas are subject to a 14 day cancellation policy with a $30 cancellation fee
– Any discounts, coupons, special rates or packages, or any other individual offers will not apply to group negotiated rates. Contracted Group Rates are based on prevailing rates at time of contracting. Group rates may not be altered after original booking, regardless of hotel specials or rate adjustments.
– Unless otherwise noted, room rates are quoted for up to 4 people in a standard room, each additional person beyond 4 will result in a charge up to $40 per person/per night. Alternate room types may have larger base and maximum guest counts based on room type. The rates quoted include wrist bands for admission to all water parks on property.
– All guest rooms are subject to a taxable $29.95 nightly Resort Fee, or current prevailing rate if changed, and applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.25%) in effect at the time of check in, unless proper tax exemption documentation is supplied by the paying party and approved prior to arrival.
– Check in is at 4:00 pm, check out at 11:00 am.
– Guests may arrive after 12:00 pm and pre-register to obtain wristbands for the water park even if their room is not ready until check in time. Guests may use the facilities all day on their scheduled departure date.

🫱🏻‍🫲🏽EXHIBITOR/SUPPORTER REGISTRATION

The conference averages 50-100 attendees of quality and leadership professionals per year.

  • Exhibitors are eligible to receive up to three free conference registrations per sponsorship, this includes lunch and conference snacks.
  • CPHQ CEs are available along with great networking with potential customers and peers.

The exhibitor registration fee is $500.  In addition to exhibition space and direct access to the conference attendees for the entire day, WAHQ will also:

– Provide an attendee list to each exhibitor the day of the conference.

– Recognize the exhibitors during the course of the conference.

– Include information about your organization in conference registration materials (WAHQ website, emails, LinkedIn group postings, etc.).

– Include information about your organization in an “e-abstract” book which we will be creating and sharing with attendees as well as WAHQ members who aren’t able to attend the conference.

– Encourage attendees to visit your exhibit tables in order to have your representatives initial a conference “passport” that attendees will then use to participate in prize raffle at the end of the day.
