The Wisconsin Society for Healthcare Risk Management
(WSHRM) is excited to be holding their annual
conference entitled "Strengthening the Bridge
Between Patient Advocacy and Risk Management". This year's program will focus on
regulatory agency expectations and responses to
healthcare related complaints and grievances,
enhancing communication skills in mitigating risk
and enhancing patient safety, developing strategies
for compliance with the MMSEA standards, tools to
identify and reduce identity theft in healthcare and
a heightened awareness of Wisconsin State and
Legislative activity in the healthcare environment.
Attending this conference will benefit those who
have roles in patient safety, complaints and
grievances, medical staff support services, HIM,
quality improvement, and corporate & regulatory

MCQ and MHQP Fall Conference
October 12-13 at the Embassy Suites Airport (34th
Ave) in Bloomington
This year's theme is Customer Engagement.
October 12th will be half day workshops on Voice of
the Customer and Social Media. The Conference will
be on October 13th with sessions by Ritz Carlton,
Mayo, Target, US Bank, Cargill and several other
quality oriented companies. Details to follow in
August.
