The WAHQ board of directors is currently planning the annual 2010
educational conference to be held in Madison on March 12, 2010.
The following list is an example of suggested topics:
- National patient safety goals
- RACs (Recovery audit process)
- HACS (Hospital acquired conditions) - Inpatient Prospective Payment
System (IPPS)
- Acquired outpatient conditions- Outpatient Prospective Payment
System (OPPS)
- Physician Quality Indicators - PQRI Program
- Never events
- Speak up campaigns for patient safety (referencing the Leadership
Joint commission chapter, as well as the NPSG)
What topics of
interest would you like to see on the agenda? Is there a speaker you
would recommend? If so, what topic?
